The Solomon-Wall meeting 2025 is an occasional forum to bring together industry and academe to discuss advances in mineral system science and application to mineral exploration.
The goal of the systems approach is to understand the fundamentals of a system, irrespective of commodity, deposit class or type, and to apply the learning in mineral exploration

The forum will be held at Caves House, Yallingup, WA from Monday 26th May(pm) through Friday 30th May (am), 2025 and is designed to accommodate ~60 to 80 participants in the relaxed environment of the Margaret River wine region. The forum will be preceded by a short course on Archean Au systems (WA) on Sunday 25th May (pm) and Monday 26th (am).
The forum honours the contributions of
and and follows the of 2011 and 2018
The meeting is an activity of the SGEG (Specialist Group Economic Geology) of the Geological Society of Australia.
Who should attend?

-
If you want to be a better explorer, be it green-fields or brown-fields exploration
-
If you want to shake off the mind-numbing legacy of an ore-deposits course and think anew about deposit-forming processes.
-
If you are interested in the 'DNA' of mineral systems
-
If you are looking to enhance your exploration efforts with novel approaches to mapping systems
-
If you are frustrated in academe with no resources to map system gradients
Here's your chance!
and join the conversation.
And if you want to present a paper ...........
